The Memorial Service was held Tuesday, April 11th, 2000 at 4 pm, in front of the old zoo at Griffith Park in Los Angeles.  Arriving guests signed the guestbook and tic-tacs were distributed in memory of Hal's amusing love for tic-tacs... the service was videotaped and photographed for Hal's distant relatives, who were unable to attend in person.  A partial transcript will be added to this site at a later date.

Reminiscences -- Memories about Hal were shared by many who attended, including Carole Hargraves (Hal's former CHN partner), Chelsea Pfeiffer, Julia Parton, Bill, and others whom we don't have the names of at this time... Lorelei also read aloud the memories that have been contributed to this website by many others who knew Hal.
